Hand-harvesting at peak maturity
Experienced harvesters gather the seaweed by hand, directly from natural beds when nutritional content is highest. No enhancements, additives, or substances of any kind are used at any stage.
Natural sun-drying
The fresh harvest is spread on beach rocks and dried solely by the sun and sea breezes—no mechanical dryers or artificial methods are ever used. This patient, traditional process ensures the seaweed retains its raw nutritional power and the distinct, deep flavour profile unique to the North Atlantic.
Transport to certified facility
Once fully dried, the harvest is transported on specialised tarps to our certified organic processing plant. This careful handling ensures the dulse remains protected and pure as it moves from the drying beds to the final grading stage.
Hand-grading, milling, and bagging
In strict compliance with organic certification standards, our harvest is graded by hand at our facility. It is then bagged following rigorous certification protocols to ensure no shortcuts are taken and no contamination risks are introduced during the process.
Full traceability and purity assurance
Every step follows certified organic guidelines for harvesting, handling, and processing all our seaweed. This ensures maximum freshness, zero contamination, and complete traceability from the shore to the final bag.
